While the current spate of new bikes being kicked out by the manufacturers – regardless of where they hail from – continue to achieve new heights in looks and performance, there’s still something to be said about custom builds. The whole idea of taking a standard issue motorcycle and making it into something slightly different or completely out there is often more appealing.
We’ve been to our share of US shows which are mostly dominated by highly customized baggers and cruisers that are a wonder to look at but probably highly unrideable. For that reason, we were pretty taken with much of what was displayed at the recent Kickback custom show in Stoneleigh Park, England. Yeah, we would like to say we went, but unfortunately, like you, we had to indulge ourselves with pictures instead. A few are definitely more show than go, like the first one below, but the rest are beasts clearly meant to be ridden.
