We’ve never been to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, but since that falls under our overall suggestion to check out some routes in that state, we decided to see what was cookin’.

Turns out The Cathouse Lounge and Pied Piper Inn shows up on many biker friendly lists of places to eat. Open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to midnight, The Cathouse Lounge serves pub grub but not your typical fries and Buffalo wings. We’re talking appertizers like Merlot strips (6 oz. sirloin grilled to your liking, topped with sautéed mushrooms, and drizzled with their horseradish cream sauce) or Grilled Jalapeno Hummus (spicy grilled jalapenos blended with hummus and served with warm pita bread, veggies and salsa). Big plates include pork chops, prime rib, corned beef and cabbage and an assortment of burgers and sandwiches.

Stick around on Friday and Saturday night when they also serve up live music from 8 a.m. to midnight.
