Marblemount, WA is a little more than a third of the way along the North Cascades Highway route we’re recommending in this issue’s Routes & Trails. That means you’ll be ready for a late breakfast or early lunch. So we did some searching and came up with the Marblemount Diner (4.4 stars on Yelp).
We couldn’t find a menu, so we’re presenting an assortment of solid recommendations.
“Best pie in town for certain. Don’t go for the “exotic” overcooked burgers down the road. This is great american dinner its best.” (Not sure where down the road is, but duly noted.)
“The south of the border burger is my favorite and the new fresh made fries are so good.”
“The Swiss Dip and Reuben were about $11 each and came with (decent but not incredible) fries. But the sandwiches- SO Amazing. Fresh and piping hot… The Reuben especially was on real marble rye with caraway seeds, was huge, and lacked nothing.”
If you find yourself here before we get a chance to check it out ourselves, post a note and let us now what you think.
