Since most of the country seems to be buried in snow and ice, we went looking for places to eat that weren’t going to freeze our nuts off. Even Florida seems to be colder than normal right now, but once it warms up this scenic motorcycle route will give you enough diversity to make it worth the while. It’s 135 miles will take you from the tail end of the Appalachian mountains in Tallahassee to Panama City along the coast of Florida.Screen Shot 2015-02-18 at 9.57.54 AM

Starting inTallahassee, you’ll head south onto Route 319 until it intersects with US Route 267. Head east from there toward Newport. Along the first part of this route you’ll pass by the Apalachicola National Forest, the largest National Forest in Florida.319 in Florida

After you pass by Newport, continue onto Route 98 until you get to Route 319. Take that road west and ride all the way down to the Gulf coast—eventually Route 98 merges with Route 319—towards Panama City where you’ll find the end of the route.nd5iGk5R72yb2j4j4qzg_panama-city1
