Since we’re taking you through Arizona in our Routes and Trails section, we might as well give you someplace to eat. And one of the most places to eat in Arizona is the Rawhide Western Town and Steakhouse. This is way more than just a place to eat, it’s an experience.
Located on the Gila Indian Reservation, less than 20 miles south of Phoenix, Rawhide is famous for their traditional steakhouse, Belle’s Saloon and theatrically staged gunfights. Other attractions (like a zipline, rock climbing column, and stage coach rides) and a few other places to eat give you plenty of reasons to spend all day at this replica of an 1880s frontier town.
Admission is free, but parking is $5. Food and attractions are priced separately.
