canterbury alehouse2These guys reached out to us. So we checked them out, did some sleuthing, and are happy to say this one seems like keeper. Conveniently located in east Seattle between what they describe as the hospital and cemetery, Canterbury Ale House is a neighborhood pub serving up 30 different beers and an assortment of pub food.

You’ll find an eclectic menu that includes items like Beer Battered Fish and Chips, Shepherd’s Pie and Street Tacos. You can wash it down with microbrews like Snoqualmie Black Frog Nitro or Odin Freya Gold Kolsh, or something more traditional like Hamms or Heineken.

They’re open until 2 a.m. so if you’re in need of a brunch and Hair of the Dog, they’ll fix you up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
