The Lowdown

We thought it would be downright idiotic to suggest a place to eat the day before Thanksgiving. So what better place to eat said food orgy other than at home. We’re not sure the Pilgrims pigged out like pandas on freshly snagged bamboo, but somehow this holiday has turned into a gastronomic delight. The sad part about is how much time goes into making it vs. the time spent consuming it. We think someone should work on that ratio. Then there’s the fact that shopping for Christmas seems to be eating Thanksgiving for lunch, dinner and early breakfast. It’s too bad, because we fondly remember playing with cousins, gorging ourselves to near apoplexy, then watching football. And the best part was the leftovers the next day. No one thought of shopping until Saturday. Go figure.

What to Order/Make

Turkey and/or ham, mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, stuffing, gravy, apple pie, pecan pie, pumpkin pie… All of this is just making us hungry.

Happy Thanksgiving and give thanks to all of the brothers, sisters and others that ride and look out for you on the road or on the trail.
