Jeans are a bikers go to, unless you’re a serious sportbike or adventure rider. Then we’re talking something of more substance…and coin. But a few of us have taken a few knee slides along the pavement and wished we had worn something more. (Some day we’ ll write about how not to crash a demo Triumph Speed Triple but still be in one piece to pay for it.) So we’ve tried a few jeans that provide some extra slide resistance in key points and the ability to put some extra protection in the knees.

These jeans by Cortech may not look badass, but they’ll keep you from losing your ass and some skin in the event of a low speed fall. They also won’t break the bank. They have kevlar material in the seat and hips, and pockets for CE armor in the knees. They’re reasonably comfortable and you can find them on eBay starting at around $45.00.
